Protective Clothing
Helmet
Make sure you get a good quality helmet when riding your stunt scooter. Make sure that it fits snugly. The helmet should sit squarely on your head (not tilted). It should be tight without pressing into your cheeks or forehead. If it’s loose it will wobble when you are riding or come off during a crash!
Knee Pads
Knee protection is very important when using your stunt scooter especially on flow areas and half pipes etc. Look for vert knee pads with big protective caps but well shaped anatomically so they don’t restrict your movement.
Elbow Pads
Protect against friction burns and rashes with a good set of elbow pads when riding your stunt scooter. Get a good durable pair with lots of padding and make sure they’re a comfortable fit so they don’t restrict your movement.
Shoes
Find your self a good pair of slip-resistant shoes. Skate shoes are designed with boards and scooters in mind but whatever you choose make sure they’re a good fit.
Mouth guard
Protect your teeth! Mouth guards offer excellent protection for your teeth and are a must have for stunt scooter riders at the skate park.
